How Does the Opportunities Engine Track “Goals Met”?

Understanding how goals are measured and what flexibility you have to customize them.

Within the Opportunities Engine, the metric “Goals Met” is used to measure whether a campaign achieved its intended outcome. By default, this is tracked through the primary click of the campaign—the main call-to-action that you set when creating the campaign.

Every time a member completes this action (for example, tapping on the primary button in a push notification or in-app message), it is recorded as a goal met. This allows you to quickly evaluate whether your campaign drove the intended engagement.

Currently, the primary click is the key measure for goals across campaigns. This ensures consistency in how campaign performance is evaluated and compared within the Opportunities Engine. While other engagement signals (such as impressions or secondary clicks) are tracked and available in reporting, they do not replace the default definition of “Goals Met.”
