Opportunities Engine: How Does Pulsate Get the Data?

Understanding how data powers the Opportunities Engine

The Opportunities Engine relies on accurate and timely data to identify meaningful member segments and highlight opportunities for engagement. To enable this, financial institutions (FIs) must first establish a secure data flow with Pulsate.

Data Transfer via SFTP

As part of the Opportunities Engine implementation, the FI is required to send its data to Pulsate through SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol). This method ensures that all information is transmitted safely and efficiently.

Once the SFTP data flow is set up, Pulsate ingests the information to surface targeting opportunities inside the platform. These opportunities may include identifying members eligible for a loan refinance, those who haven’t activated a card, or groups likely to respond to promotional campaigns.

This data-driven approach means the FI can focus on launching campaigns with confidence, knowing they are backed by real behavioral and transactional insights.
